As it’s first initiation of the group Yaban Tv was formed in 2006, under the partnership of two outdoor sportsman and journalists, Ufuk Güldemir and Melih Meriç.
After Bussinesman Zafer Türkoğlu became a partner in 2012, he formed Yaban Store and Yaban Academy; This led Yaban to turn into a global outdoor network.

Yaban Network
Though Broadcasting is at the center of Yaban, but Yaban also holds a vast outdoor network. Yaban collaborates in and around Turkey, with over 1500 unions, federations, clubs and associations, conducting contests, events and social responsibility projects. With it’s 150 thousand members, Yaban is capable of acting together with them.
Social Responsibility
Yaban, by the direction of 100 % Nature Vision Document, supports social responsibility projects.
Forest and water works ministries being the primary, federations, confederations, off-road clubs, sailing clubs and hundreds more civil societies, also environmental organizations and universities have signed collaboration protocols with Yaban at the direction of ‘’Protection and sustanibility of nature’’ and keeps these works active through.
Non-Profit programs conducted by the support of European Union such as ‘’ Turkey’s First Recreational Angling Workshop’’, ‘’Fight against invasive species program’’, ‘’Fight Against Fishing Technique Which Leaves Permanent Damage to Freshwater Life’’ and many more is a Partner of Yaban.
With the collaboration with Forest and Water works, Yaban have conducted Chukar Partridge Feeding with over 200.000 people. Nature and environment organizations have participated in this event.
Yaban supports the Turkey’s first wildlife museum. Bearing the name of its founder, ITU Ufuk Güldemir natural history museum, is being built in Istanbul Technical University, Maslak campus.
Yaban, is the main sponsor to the only authorized representative of FCI in Turkey of KIF-Dog Breeds Federation’’ which is working in order to preserve the breed standards and introduce local dog breeds to the world.
100 % Nature Vision
Yaban group, have published it’s principles on broadcasting and collaborating with the civil society in 2011 through issuing the “ 100 % Nature Vision” document.
This document is considered as Yaban’s constitution.
